Plot
On August 1, 2015 the United States launches a whole new approach toward public schools. Over the past few years High Schools have continued to fail to meet ridiculous requirements as the government continued to expand on the ‘No Child Left Behind’ Policy. Each year each school is suspected to each a whole new level of averages on grades, the only problems is averages can only reach one hundred and eventually what would have to happen, every single student would have to get a hundred in every class which is virtually impossible. Thus public schools were being set up to fail and one by one they were shut down and closed. The fact being that some students were simply incapable of learning some things and others did not care at all. As more and more schools failed, teenagers had a hard time getting into new schools, such as private schools. There were simply not enough to take in all of these teenagers. Right away the government could see something needed to be done; obviously they had taken it a step to far in the hopes of saving a few petty tax dollars. A new high school was opened, created by a young visionary Mayor that would take the Policy to a whole new level and reintroduce Corporal Punishment into the system and test it within his own city and this new high school, Judgment Academy.
The ‘No Child Left Behind’ Policy was taken to a whole new level as Corporal Punishment was reinstated, saying that students could no longer be expelled and would simply receive physical punishment for their bad behavior or for not completing assignments. At first it started with just paddling, but over time it progressed to things such as push-ups, slapping with rulers, and eventually hitting students with fists or kicking them, beating students for their behavior or mistakes or for any other reason such as not doing homework. There was one big loophole in this new Policy though, the fact that students could not expelled no matter what they did, some students started to fight back, striking and hitting teachers if they dare to touch or hit them. Students would beat down teachers that would try to beat them and over time they would group up together, causing more and more gangs and rebellions to break out as they challenged the authorities and this new policy.
Changes to the policies were made, such as if a teacher or a student were to ever kill anyone through violent acts then they would be arrested and prosecuted through the full extent of the law. Also if students hit teachers back or fought them then those students could be apprehended and receive up to forty lashings from a whip. Though this only seemed to enrage students even further and split the city into more beliefs, views, and gangs. Some teachers secretly try to help the students or go against the punishment as so do some adults, though other teachers are for it and will beat students. Some students try to take over parts of the city and school by using their strength to influence their ways and overtake the faculty. Some are trying to bring this entire system down, beating down any one in their way whether they are student or teacher. Some of the students help run the school, helping the teachers and seeking and beating down problem students for them. The police in the city have been given permission to use force to stop students and gangs, using shields and bats and some officers are hired by the schools to help with fights and gang breakouts. Others try to ignore it all and just go about their lives, some just accept the Corporal Punishment and submit to it.
